BoA’s Orgasmic Vantage Point!

7 Days Until Portfolio Grand Opening O_O

This is going to be more Colossal than xynntii.com! I continue to say it and I absolutely mean this. My portfolio and its sexy interface is going to be the ultimate playground renovation that the Fans have been waiting for. Keep in mind, my premiere portfolio, hosted by smugmug, will be designed with the same theme and feel as what you see here at xynntii.com. Same playfulness, same corniness. It’s gonna be pretty disgusting [in a good way]. Remember to check-in on Monday 24 May for this update. I want you to be the first to see. If you’re friends with me on facebook or you have joined the fansite, then you’ll be sure to receive status update and promotions about it.

My Balcony Makes Way for Some Intense Eyecandy

The condominium realtor detailed that I would only have a good view of the west. Is that so? This photo was shot pointing to the south. But I made sure to crop out my balcony wall that was raping the left side of the frame. I had to make it seem as if I have that perfect view; you know how it is, my ego made me do it. If you’ve been following :xynn tii imagery for several months, then you’d recognize this blue tower as the Bank of America skyscraper that I’ve photographed in several other landscape shots, including one my favorites: Bank of America ‘State of Mind’. I elevated up to one of the unaffordable penthouses for that shot. I enjoy basking in the ambiance of places I know I’ll probably never have the opportunity to live in. It’s called… denial.

Vacating Brickell w/ the Quickness!

The Comment Cabin Nears Completion

I’m always gonna be about making xynntii.com as user-friendly as possible. One of the most engaging sections of this website needs to be the comment section, where people can not only share their thoughts on posts and pages, but also read up on previous comments. Hence, the Comment Cabin, another inutitive piece of this website that I’m sure you’ll find useful.

Approaching completion next week, the Comment Cabin will display your comment magically within it’s individual block. =D [that was corny]. You’ll also be able to comment directly with your Facebook, so your profile pic will appear as a thumbnail alongside your comment! I’m real anxious to add this to xynntii.com’s playground!

“Brickell or Dwntwn Miami?” Same Thing, Ignoramus!

I try to be as polite as I can be but tourists [and some natives] just don’t get it: Brickell is considered within the dwntwn area. I suppose you can call it the ‘business district’ of Miami. Countless times I’ve had to explain that to people. I’m a ridiculous hypocrite though, considering that I just found out for myself, about 6 months ago, that Brickell is part of dwntwn Miami. & I’ve been living here for 2 years so that’s pretty disgusting.

This image was shot at the Epic Hotel pooldeck looking to the south into Brickell. I found it hilarious that all traffic was heading towards me, leaving this District, the entire time I was setting up. Brickell is a great site for photos though! So many random skyscrapers used for nothing more than office space. I get the feeling that we’ve gotten to the point where architects and realtors are only constructing towers to be able to say “Hey yea, I’m the owner of the tallest building in Miami; how you like me now?” I think our ego’s drive us into bankruptcy, not our ignorance.

Reflection, Meet Your Fork.

In honor of the first one to do it, the late great André Kertész.

For class, I was assigned to mock the style of renown photographers.Thought it would be crazy boring, but I’m glad I did it. c;

Bank of America “State of Mind”

Who said dwntwn Miami doesn’t have bright lights?

I was really grateful to have gotten this shot! I was actually allowed access to one of the highest levels of my condo residence in dwntwn Miami. I’ve been craving this opportunity for months. c; This image points to the south, toward the Brickell district. I am a serious fan of the Bank of America Tower [purple skyscraper at right] because decades it has managed to remain a highlight of the dwntwn Miami area, literally. It began groundbreaking in 1983 and to much surprise still has that modern look to it.

What separates this Bank of America Tower from its surroundings are the interchangeable LED lights that mock colors based on specific times of the year or event. [For instance, during Breast Cancer Awareness month, the tower was lit in pink] Remarkable idea, I love it. This image also depicts the architectural renovation process of Miami. You can clearly see that the buildings start to look more modern as you track from the bottom of the image to the top, which is a true representation.

It really is only a matter of time before the Hyatt Regency Hotel and James L Knight Center [white buildings at center frame] are renovated and the same goes for much of the dwntwn area. I think its necessary and I look forward to seeing how Miami will look in 5 to 10 years from now. c;

This is a high dynamic range image and also my 1st taken with my new Canon D7 ! I used a -2 to +2 exposure metering [where I merged 3 images together during post production] No photoshop! was used during this process. I developed the image with photomatix and lightroom. c:

Believe it or not, I believe the most interesting section of this photo is actually in the very back. You can see a cruise ship from a far that separates the water from the sky! That divide gives the background more of a 3D-rounded look. But hey! Please supply your critique on this image via commenting here or even via twitter. Is this image in or out ?
